Patience

“Patience will achieve more than force. ”
Edmund Burke (1729-1797)

I totally agree with this statement. Because only with patience can one understand each step that allows for the betterment of self and others. Many heartaches and headaches could be avoided if only we had been more patient. Patience helps one to:

  1. think before speaking
  2. have more time to figure out the best way to word it
  3. decide if it's even worth it
  4. lastly...to make a wiser use of time and energy
I believe I need to be more patient, not to the extent of permissiveness because that's not patience - that's not wanting to make the effort of standing for what you think it's best and right. But PATIENCE is necessary for everyone's happiness. Think about it for a minute...the moments you are able and willing to exercise patience you feel in more control of yourself and partly of the situation you're in. It's not 100% accurate most of the times but it does work for the better. At least you can give it a try.

Bye for now,
